Zedna is a virtual reality documentary about decolonization and split identity between Greenland and Denmark, told through the search of director Mikisoq Hove Lynge.

Two stereoscopic 180° images are merged into a 360° environment that places the viewer between cultures, landscapes, and generations. Myths, lived testimony, and personal memory intertwine to ask how a new Inuit identity can be shaped with clear eyes on the past and a steady gaze toward the future.

Initiated and produced by Wiebe van der Vliet, who also serves as writer and editor, and co-directed by David Adler, Zedna was developed at CPH:LAB (CPH:DOX) and received support from Norddok 2. While the feature remains in development, a 6-minute poetic VR piece has become the primary work.
